Gov AbdulRazaq Approves 2026 Promotion of Workers

Civil servants in Kwara State are billed to smile again as Governor AbdulRazaq AbdulRahman approves the 2026 Promotion exercise across all MDAs, Departments and Agencies.

Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission, Hajia Habibat Yusuf mase this known at a press brief held in her office in Ilorin, the state capital.

Hajia Yusuf on behalf of the Commission expressed their profound appreciation to the governor for approving 2026 promotion exercise for its workers

According to her, the governor had always been very responsive to the welfare of its workers. She disclosed that funds and logistics for the exercise to significantly boost the productivity of civil servants across all MDAs to improve the state service delivery had been already been easily provided.

The current administration had been largely credited for improving on the immediate past habits of delay payments, slashing workers’ salaries without preferring reasons most disturbingly, paying pensions in halves and non-payment of gratuities.

It was said that the arrears were to the extent that pensioners gratuity in arrears are still at 2014 because of its huge size that had to be gradually addressed by the government.
