Billionaire son, Raheem Okoya, shares story of loyal guard who served the Eleganza Family for 49 years

Raheem Olasubomi Okoya, popularly known as SirRaheem, has shared the inspiring story of a loyal security guard who dedicated 49 years of service to the Eleganza Group before passing on the responsibility to his son.
The singer and son of billionaire industrialist Razaq Okoya took to Instagram on June 19, 2026, to post a video of himself sitting with the elderly man as he reflected on his decades-long journey with the company.
According to the veteran guard, he first met Razaq Okoya as a young man during the early stages of building the Eleganza business empire. He was later entrusted with overseeing security at the ceramics factory, one of the company’s pioneering ventures at the time.
Sharing the video, SirRaheem described the encounter as a special moment, highlighting the guard’s unwavering loyalty and commitment to the growth of the company over nearly five decades.
“Today I had the pleasure of connecting with a man who worked with Eleganza for 49 years as our head of in-house security across various branches. He first met my dad as a young man when my dad was developing his factories, and my dad trusted him so deeply that he went on to head our security unit at the ceramics factory, one of the first of its kind at the time. An incredible story of resilience and loyalty,” he wrote.
Sir Raheem also expressed appreciation to the individuals who played significant roles in the development of the Eleganza empire, noting that the guard’s legacy has continued through the next generation.
He revealed that the man’s son, who was born and raised around the ceramics factory, has now assumed his father’s former position and currently oversees in-house security in the same area.
“Eleganza is forever grateful to the key people who helped build this empire. His son, born and bred in our ceramics factory, has now come of age and taken over his father’s duties, heading in-house security in that very area. A truly remarkable story,” he added.

@agaraladi commented, “This is painful to watch but facts remains, This is a complete nonsense and not inspirational in anyway As a worker in any organization, plan your future starting now or they will use you for content in your old age A man that has worked for 49 years diligently should never shed tears under any guise. This also calls into question our national pension policy, where our senior citizens are being left to rot away in pain. I know, what this man is going through, because my father once worked for over 30 years for the FG, and never got paid his pension till he died, even up till now, that money we gladly donated to the FG, because we don’t need it anymore. As young youths, my advise is simple and straightforward, work hard and work smart to break the shackles of poverty, because that’s what we did in my family, poverty has no hold on us anymore. May the sacrifices of our heroes past never be in vain.”
@JoTechTracker said, “Worked for the rich for 49year and yet didn’t become at least comfortable enough after. I don’t wanna be that man. Even if they dash him 50 million now, he has lost his taste buds already.”
@LesterJude88458 remarked, “49 years? For a billionaire? And una still allow this baba dey like this? Bruh!!! This is crazy. Someone will say “Is it your money” I understand that but you sef reason am. How many years civil servant dey work e no even reach 40 years na.”
@Oluwato04034947 Uttered, “This boy is very stupid for doing this and st doing it in a very disrespectful manner. You still want to greet the man and be shaking an old man if not same age with your father instead of prostrating for him before leaving to show some sign of culture and well train boy.”
